Cupcake Fun!!!!

I guess you know you are getting old when you trade in green beer for green cupcakes on St. Patty's Day......

Love all these sweet boys!!!!

Brett was out of town Saturday night for a bachelor party, so I decided to invite the mama's and boys over for some play time. Grayson asks for cupcakes all the time so I thought it would be fun to let the kiddos decorate cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day. They had a ball doing this!!! We gave them each an iced cupcake, put the decorations on the table, and just let them go for it! It is a definite do again activity!

Big Boy Bike

Brett's parents bought Grayson what he calls a "Big Boy Bike" and he thinks it is #1! Yesterday he kept asking to go ride it out front, so I told him when his daddy got back from his trip we would. As soon as Brett came home, he was ready to go!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A few days late......

I took Grayson to the St. Patrick's Day parade with some friends and my parents this weekend. He LOVED it!!! He kept jumping up saying "OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!!! He definitely LOVED all the loud cars and fire trucks. We had a great time!

Fearless

Yesterday Grayson decided that the 30 minute nap in the car was enough! The weather was BEAUTIFUL so we went on a walk, played out back, then decided to hit up the park! He definitely is 'all boy' and ON THE GO! I couldn't believe the difference since the last time we visited this park. He was climbing, sliding, jumping, running, etc. The last time we went to this park he wouldn't go near the big silver slide, yesterday I couldn't get him away from it! Each month I feel like I say "this is my favorite age", but I really do think this is my favorite!

Brett's office has Santa come in each year for pictures, cookie decorating, and pizza. Grayson is not a fan of sitting in Santa's lap!

Oh Toodles!!!!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has become a staple at our house. There are days where I can't get the phrase "Oh Toodles" or the "Hot Dog Dance" song out of my head! Grayson's cousin went to Disney World over Fall Break and brought him back this too cute hat! Grayson loves it!!!

1st Trip to the Dentist

Last week Grayson had his first trip to see the dentist. He was so excited when I picked him up early from school (11:15). I told him we were going to the dentist and he thought this was FANTASTIC news! So, we walk into the office and he was very curious as to where we were. He seemed to like all the toys and the playground inside! We were called back and that is when the excitement ended....He got so upset hearing all the tools being used. Luckily, the staff and doctor were WONDERFUL with him. I had to hold him so the dentist could "count his teeth". Grayson was NOT a fan of the lady trying to take his picture when we first went back....

It all ended well when he got to pick out a toy car and have lunch at McDonald's!

This past Saturday we loaded up and headed to Taft, TN with all our dear friends. The kids and parents all had a GREAT time!

So, even though I am an Auburn fan my boys both go for Bama!!! At least Brett lets me pick Grayson's team outfits!

First Day of School

Grayson started in his new room at SWEEM on the 15th. He LOVES it and it makes Brett and I so happy! He is growing, changing, and learning so much each day. I wish time would stand still sometimes! Getting him to stand still for a picture is impossible! Brett took these for me because I was already at work. Love this little guy!!!

His new thing is saying CHEEEESSSSEEEE when the camera is pulled out!

David and Brett are Getting Older.....

For the past 4 years my friend Caroline and I have thrown Brett and David a joint Birthday party. This year we decided to make it "kid-friendly" and it turned out to be more of a party for them! They had a blast playing in the water, eating, and having popsicles! We had a blast just watching! Love these sweet boys!

Fountain Fun!!!

A couple weeks ago, some friends and I decided to take our boys to the fountains behind Early Works. They had a great time zipping in and out while staying cool!

We look forward to many more times at the fountains!

Worn Out!

A couple weeks ago Grayson decided 3:15 AM was time for us to get up. He wasn't sick, but just wanted out of his crib to play. As I was on my way to work at 7, Brett got this picture of our little man. It was a LONG day!

Spring Is Here!!!!

Spring is FINALLY here and we are loving the warmer weather!

Last Saturday we woke up to a nasty, rainy day. We wanted to just stay in and snuggle, but we knew we had places to be! We met our friends for breakfast, then were off to the Peter Cottontail Express!

The rain didn't stop us from having fun!

Easter Bunny Brunch

WOW is all I can say. This past weekend was the Junior League of Huntsville's Easter Bunny Brunch. So, all of us moms thought this would be so fun, cute, relaxing.....yeah right!!! We did have a great time, but the one word to sum it up with is-CHAOTIC!!!!!
